At the end of a unique high valley on 1900 m Sulden is wrapped just 6 months in the year in snow and it is indeed an area where snow is assured. Beside the unique mountain scenery of Ortler (3905 m), Königspitze and Cevedale, Sulden offers a lot of opportunities to sportsmen. 40 km of well preserved ski runs extend to a height of 3250 m and open infinite possibilities for skiers in every degree of difficulty.
Enjoy the long ski season from beginning of November until the middle of May. The Cristallo is an ideal starting point as the ski fun begins directly behind the house. By using the adjoining ski lift you can reach the whole holiday resort comfortably. As a Cristallo guest you are not depending on the skibus nor on your own car. Especially families with children appreciate the good position of the hotel.
In general the Sulden ski resort is divided into two areas: Langenstein and Kanzel consist of 3 chairlifts and the babylift coming down right behind the hotel. The second part, the Madritsch area with the big cable car carries the skiers up to 3250m. Both areas are connected and can be changed easily now and then.

Après-ski comes from the French for “After Skiing” but is now used universally and refers to the socializing that is popular after a days skiing ends. When the sun goes down is when the ski resorts come alive and enjoying a steaming mug of hot Chocolate laced with rum or a glass of hot Gluhwein whilst watching the sunset over the snow covered mountain peaks is a memory which will last a life-time.
