With over 100 km of slopes and modern lifts, Kronplatz (2275 m) is the mountain for sophisticated skiing and snowboarding. Its ample and sunny plateau and long ski runs all the way down to the valley in three cardinal directions are a real treat for sun lovers.
If required, Kronplatz may be equipped with artificial snow up to 100%. It offers only the highest quality skiing and snowboarding as well as a maximum level of safety on the slopes. Several different areas and Kids’ Parks provide for a great deal of fun and variety for the little ones and are rounded off by the professional programmes of local ski schools.
Kronplatz is one of only few skiing resorts in the Alps which boast 5 black slopes: Sylvester, Herrnegg, Pre da Peres, Erta and Piculin.
If you’re not done with skiing after a full day on the Kronplatz slopes and want to experience the thrill of night-time snow fun, you’re definitely in the right place. A number of select lifts and floodlit slopes, specially prepared for plenty of skiing fun in the dark, make for an unforgettable adventure which every passionate skier should try out at least once!
Located directly off the Belvedere cable car peak station on 2230 m, the Kronplatz Easy Park is a sun-spoilt fun factory! It’s great for kids, beginners and everyone else brave enough the let off some steam on the park’s 800 m easy line.
Après-ski comes from the French for “After Skiing” but is now used universally and refers to the socializing that is popular after a days skiing ends. When the sun goes down is when the ski resorts come alive and enjoying a steaming mug of hot Chocolate laced with rum or a glass of hot Gluhwein whilst watching the sunset over the snow covered mountain peaks is a memory which will last a life-time.
