Recipes vary but this is a basic Chai that is easy to make and delicious to drink. This amount will serve 4 people.
1 pint – 450 ml water
4 tablesp. black tea (or you can substitute for 1 teabag)
4 tablesp. honey
1 cinnamon stick
¼ teasp. fresh or ground ginger
¼ teasp. ground cardamon or crushed cardamon pods
pinch of nutmeg
1 pint – 450 ml semi-skimmed milk
