Liverpool has been hosting Christmas Markets over the past few years and they have been getting steadily better and more spectacular, the Ice Festival at Liverpool One and Chavasse Park are not to be missed! On top of Liverpool One in Chavasse Park. Visitors to Liverpool ONE can enjoy a drink in the UK’s first ever pop-up real Ice Bar and experience the UK’s largest real Ice Slide, with two runs that are 30m long, 6m high and 4m wide. In addition to this there will be an ice rink and a magnificent entrance, with real ice sculptures leading into Santa’s Grotto. The markets will run the entire length of Church Street, Lord Street and halfway up Paradise Street leading to one of two Christmas Tree’s in the city centre.
Liverpool’s biggest Christmas market is coming to the Ice Festival at the Pier Head.
Date: 16 November – 23 December 2018
A Christmas Village complete with Bandstand, there will be free entertainment from bands and choirs playing festive music. Stalls selling German Bratwurst and steaming mugs of warming Glühwein will keep out the cold.
