The gates to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park will open at 5pm on the — November and will be open every day from 10 am to 10 pm (except Christmas Day) until 2nd January. The Winter Wonderland promises to be filled with festive spills and thrills. The park is free to enter so you will be able to wander though the park and soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy all the free entertainment on offer. If you would like to go Ice Skating or visit the Magical Ice Kingdom or take a ride on the Giant Observation Wheel or take the children to Zippo’s Circus, then make sure to buy your ticket well in advance as they sell out very quickly.
Santa will also be here in the park for the children to visit and some great rides and entertainments for the little ones.
There will be over 200 traditional wooden chalets displaying festive gifts, decorations and handicrafts. Winter Wonderland offers a huge selection of seasonal food and drink. Whether it’s a sit-down meal, a quick snack, a bite on the move, or festive drinks with family or friends – Winter Wonderland has something for everyone. In addition to our main eateries, there are many bars, cafés and chalets to suit all tastes. Here are some examples of the many eateries on offer. Look out for the Bavarian Village, the Fire Pit, the Etagen Cafe, the House of St.Nicholas, the Carousel Bar and the Star Tavern & Village Square, with all these there is plenty of choice for everyone.
The new Coaster Pass will give thrill seekers tap ’n’ ride access to all roller coasters on site for the duration of the event. A new family entrance will this year provide speedy entry directly into Santa Land.

The Magical Ice Kingdom returns for 2018 with a brand new theme – ‘The Enchanted Forest.’ Discover a magical world complete with woodland animals and mythical creatures, created from more than 500 tonnes of ice and snow in -10C temperatures. 2018 also sees the introduction of exciting Ice Sculpting Workshops. Christmas crafters can learn tips from expert ice sculptors and create their very own masterpiece in a bespoke sculpting studio.
Take a journey to Neverland with the exclusive new showing of Peter Pan On Ice as the childhood hero returns to his spiritual home at The Royal Parks. Performed by the internationally acclaimed Imperial Ice Stars, J M Barrie’s well-loved story takes to the ice with breath-taking skating, flying and special effects including state-of-the-art animated scenery, dazzling costumes, fire-on-ice and original music and songs.
Meanwhile, the popular Teletubbies Live Show will be heading to the MegaDome every morning at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland with a special Christmas adaption, meaning fun for even the tiniest tots as they join Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po on a magical journey through Tellytubbyland.

Polish up those skates as the UK’s biggest outdoor ice rink returns…but this year, it just got even bigger! Perfect for families, couples, friends or colleagues, test out skating skills on Hyde Park Winter Wonderland’s most iconic attraction.
Celebrating 250 years of circus, everybody’s favourite live show, Zippos Christmas Circus, will return to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Performing in the Circus MegaDome, the largest circus tent in the UK, festive punters will be wowed by the acrobatic and comical Christmas routines, along with the return of family favourites the dancing Snow Bears! Hyde Park Winter Wonderland will also be the home of fast-paced, jaw-dropping performances by Cirque Berserk, with adrenaline-fuelled stunt action and contemporary-cirque artistry from this astoundingly talented international troupe of over thirty jugglers, acrobats, aerialists and daredevil stuntmen. This year will also see the return of the world’s most dangerous circus act; the legendary Globe of Death motorbike show.
The perfect party destination, Bar Hütte will this year be offering Christmas Karaoke booths to kick-start the season with pop classics and festive favourites. Ideal for festive get-togethers, booths are available for groups of up to 20 to cosy up in a private alpine-style hütte with food and drinks served by a dedicated host.
For the most romantic wintery destination in London this year, head to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland’s adored Giant Observation Wheel. Built over 60 metres high, see beyond Hyde Park’s tree tops to enjoy panoramic views of the capital.
