From the end of November until the 24th of December, the Montreux Christmas Market each year features 146 decorated and illuminated chalets along the quays of Geneva’s Lake.
In the best tradition of Christmas, crafts, tastings of regional specialities, mulled wine and thousands of gift ideas are there for you every year at this superb market.
In this warm and festive atmosphere, you will also discover exceptional musical entertainment and a unique discovery area: The Swiss Village!
Santa’s flying sleigh – Every day at 5 p.m., 6p.m. and 7 p.m. on the shores of Lake Geneva in Montreux
Montreux Noël presents an exceptional additional site. The organisers’ dream of a Mountain Christmas Village has become a reality in the town of Caux above Montreux.
Families and children can enjoy the Santa Claus worshop in a new setting, the reindeer park, various animals, a giant nativity scene, the village of the sprites and Santa’s post office!
Games for children and play areas have been set up on an esplanade overlooking a breathtaking panorama of Lake Geneva and the Alps.
You absolutely must not miss visiting Santa Claus at his house perched in grotto atop the Rochers de Naye above Montreux at an altitude of 2042 metres.
His house and his office will welcome thousands of children and will become the principal destination for families between 22 November and 24 December 2018
