Resorts in Lanzarote

Costa Teguise is situated just north of Arrecife in the north east of the island and gives great access to visit easily the centres of art, culture and tourism located in the north of the island. It has as well a large selection of shops and restaurants and wonderful crystal clear water beaches like Playa de las Cucharas.

The longest established — and probably best known — resort on the island, Puerto del Carmen has everything that any holiday maker requires. It streches along 6 kilometres of golden beaches and has a very lively beach avenue with everything from chill out cafes to discotheques, Casino and a wealth of shopping opportunities.

On the southern tip of the island, Playa Blanca was originally a fishing village, but has grown into a top quality thriving family resort with some of the best beaches on Lanzarote, including the ones in Papagayo Natural Reserve. There is a wide choice of accommodation and restaurants to suit all budgets and a long fantastic promenade with shops and cute little cafes.

The newest and most upmarket resort of Puerto Calero has grown around the elegant leisure harbour of Puerto Calero, where a good range of submarine and boat excursions are available, together with stylish shops and restaurants.
