Le Touquet Information Guide

Where authenticity is at the heart of everything

Forget the hectic pace and the humdrum of everyday life. Get back to basics and what really matters. Real life starts here.

On your own:

Need to decompress? To gain some focus? To get a breath of fresh air? To take a break? The Parc Naturel de la Baie de Canche and the beach will help you − take time out with the sand and the sea. Feel the sand under your feet, dip your toes in the water, then wade out deeper into the waves. You’ll see − it’s simply a magical way to relax!

With friends:

For those who always want to be on the move, take up the challenge of a Wakeboard session in the 100m-long pool. With falls and laughter guaranteed, it’s the perfect way to clear your head, have some fun and create some fantastic memories!

Wakeboarding is possible only from April to October.

As a family:

Rediscover the joy of spending time with your children as they become ‘fort builders’ and make sandcastles on the vast sandy beach with its colourful huts. Don’t forget your buckets and spades for this simple but precious time together.

As a couple:

An intimate walk on the beach, ending with a sunset kiss. What could be more romantic? A dinner ‘tête-à-tête’ is also a great way to savour the moment with an exquisite menu.

Getting in touch with your inerself

Take time for yourself; take time to explore and to breathe in the sea air, lightly scented with woody smells. Relaxing can take many forms in our resort: walking on the beach or in the forest along landscaped paths, strolling dreamily in the Parc de la Baie de Canche or the Equestrian Park or discovering the diverse architectural styles of Le Touquet. Cycle gently along the 15 km (9 miles) of cycle paths that criss-cross the resort, between sea and forest. Relax and put your feet up: stretch out on a beach towel on the sand on our 7 km (4 1/2 mile) long beach or at the Nuxe Spa Hotel Barrière Westminster.

Make the most of this time for yourself by spending a few moments shopping or relaxing in the rue Saint Jean, for example, or in the perpendicular streets or the Avenue du Verger. As a beautiful, and more sociable, ends to the day, head for the sand and one of the beach bars to enjoy an aperitif with friends and a flamboyant sunset over the sea.
