Set in a blind valley surrounded by cliffs, the Hérisson River tumbles 805 metres down a series of 31 drops and 7 waterfalls before passing through Val and Chambly Lakes. A footpath offers the opportunity to visit this outstanding natural site and to follow the river and discover its many waterfalls, pools and caves.
Along the way, take time to enjoy a break and listen to the soothing sound of the water at the Gour Bleu or the Saut de la Forge… You may also view the impressive falls of the Saut de l’Éventail (65 metres high) or the Grand Saut (60 metres high).
This 3.7 km-long walk offers you 2 hours and 50 minutes of delight and freshness: a simple adventure at the heart of nature. Some passages are steep or may be slippery, therefore, please respect the following guidelines: always wear appropriate footwear, hold young children by the hand and keep dogs on a leash and do not leave the waymarked paths.
