We do not want to make just any festival, but to expand the concepts of how to perceive a music event like NorthSide. For example, there is no camping area at NorthSide, which means that our audience is at the festival site during most of the weekend. In order to look forward, be innovative and not repeat ourselves too much, we try not to have stalls or installations, which are “package solutions” or the same that have been used at other festivals. We strive to make something that stands out, as well as being a bit edgy, visionary or challenging.
