1.25 kg puff pastry
240 g cottage cheese
240 g feta cheese
240 ml sour cream
salt to taste
Roll out the puff pastry out quite thin, into a large rectangle. In a large bowl, mix the filling by adding the cottage cheese, feta cheese, 2 eggs and salt to taste. Spread the filling all over the rolled out pastry. Roll the pastry into a long sausage shape and seal the ends with a little water. Cut the roll into 2? pieces and place them, a few at a time into a pan of boiling water for about 5 minutes. When cooked, remove from the water with a slotted spoon and place into a well greased oven-proof dish. Mix the sour cream and the remaining egg in another bowl and pour this over the cooked Strukli. Bake in the pre-heated oven 180° for about ½ an hour or until golden brown.
