Chicago and Sports

The first Cubs game at Wrigley Field was played on April 20, 1916. Today, it’s the second oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball and one of the most popular attractions in Chicago. The stadium is known for its traditional setting and charmingly old fashioned sensibilities – including an ivy-covered outfield wall and manually operated scoreboard. From Ernie Banks to Ryne Sandberg, the “Friendly Confines” are shrouded in a rich baseball history and a staple trademark of Chicago’s famed Wrigleyville neighborhood. Groups are invited to go behind-the-scenes with Wrigley Field Tours, a must-see Chicago favorite that goes inside almost 100 years of Cubs history.

On the South Side of town, the White Sox are famous for their longstanding tradition of tailgating before games. But you may want to grab tickets for one of the most group-friendly teams in Major League Baseball. Whether it’s on the Privatebank Fan Deck or in one of their luxury Diamond Suites, the White Sox can accommodate your small get together between friends or enormous group of hundreds.

Players of the Chicago Bears

For a dose of football, come to the city that invented the game. Seriously. As the NFL’s founding franchise, ‘da Bears have excited a passionate and adoring fan base since 1920. Bears fans have been seasoned by Packers quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, and Bart Starr to hate all things green. But, perhaps, they’ll make an exception for the environmentally friendly Soldier Field which was recently named as the NFL’s first green stadium.

Basketball inside the Chicago United Centre

One thing Blackhawks and Bulls fans have in common is the United Center. The multiuse stadium, which hosts some 200 events per year, is the largest arena in the United States. When it comes to sports action, there’s no better venue than the United Center where championship banners from the Bulls and Blackhawks hang from the rafters like a bevy flowing gowns in Jennifer Lopez’s closet.

The Blackhawks have almost 100 years of history as one of the National Hockey League’s original six teams. Take your groups of at least 15 to an exciting hockey game and get recognized on the stadium’s big screen. The team also offers an Account Executive to ensure that your experience is memorable and a gift and merchandise discount.

The Chicago Bulls won six championships in the nineties and look poised for more accolades in the future. The Bulls hold 1000 tickets per game for groups with their day-of-rental suites, which can accommodate 20-80 guests.
