A classic Irish beverage which is truly irresistible!
4 teaspoons sugar
1 pint strong, hot coffee
4 good measures of Irish Whiskey
10 fl oz double cream
Place a teaspoon of sugar in each of 4 heatproof glasses. Place a metal teaspoon inside each glass. Slowly pour the hot coffee into each glass and stir to dissolve the sugar. Pour a measure of the Irish Whiskey into each glass. Take the spoon from the glass and turn upside down over the top of the glass. Slowly pour the cream over the back of the spoon onto the coffee so that it floats on the coffee. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
