Walsingham Walks

Walsingham Farms Shop have commissioned a pack of leaflets with details of interesting walks through the beautiful Norfolk countryside around Walsingham, which are complete with nature notes and local lore. The pack of five different walks can be obtained from the Walsingham shop or other shops and Tourist Centre in Walsingham. They contain walks varying in length from 2.5 to 5 miles. A great way to see and learn and enjoy your visit to Walsingham.

Walk 1. A walk of approx. 3 miles and taking an average walker 75 mins.is a circular walk through the deserted villages of Waterden, Egmere and Quarles.

Walk 2. A walk of approx. 2.5 miles and takes around 65 mins. A circular walk named the Pilgrims Way Walsingham.

Walk 3. A walk of approx.4.5 miles and taking around 100 mins. A circular walk named Green Way to Snoring, it takes in some of the wonderful countryside and farmland around Walsingham.

Walk 4. A walk of approx. 3 miles and takes on average 70 mins. A circular walk along the River Stiffkey and Water Meadows.

Walk 5. A walk of approx. 4.5 miles and taking around 100 mins. The walk takes you to the High Fields above Great Walsingham and through some amazing scenery.

On all these walks you need to allow yourself extra time for any visits along the way that need further exploration, or maybe even a picnic en-route.
