Easy Meatloaf (Baked in a slow cooker) – New Zealand

This recipe is cooked using a slow cooker


  • 500 g beef mince
  • 500 g sausage meat
  • 2 carrots grated
  • 2 courgettes, grated
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 (80 g) packet tomato soup mix


Switch your slow cooker onto high setting and grease the inside well.  In a bowl, mix the mince and sausage meat with your hands. Mix in the grated vegetables. Next mix in the contents of the packet of soup. Turn out onto a board or worktop and shape into a loaf shape. Place on a sheet of baking paper and lower into the slow cooker. Cook on high for 1 hour, then turn to low for a further 7 hours.
