Schifflange is a commune and town in South-Western Luxembourg, formed in 1876 when it was detached from the commune of Esch-sur-Alzette.
It is known for the resistance of its people to the Nazis during the general strike of 1942.
The town features a steelworks, walking paths through the old ore grounds around Schifflange, a natural protected zone and an art gallery.
