Bettembourg is a commune and town in Southern Luxembourg.
There are numerous places of interest, including Bettembourg Castle and Parc Merveilleux children’s amusement park. The castle is located in the centre of the town and has a history dating back to 1733, when it was built as the residence of a farming family. Today it houses the offices and services of the local commune and acts as the town hall of Bettembourg.
The amusement park features an animal reserve, exotic birds, playgrounds and children’s attractions such as a miniature train and pony riding. For over half a century, it has been visited by generations of children.
