Minori on the Amalfi Coast

Minori

Minori meaning small was originally named “Reghinna Minor” which set it apart from the nearby “Reghinna Major”, the current Maiori. Minori has history dating back to Roman times as is verified by the archaeological find of a villa from the 1st century Villa Marittima Romana. Minori has earned the title ‘City of Taste’ due to its production of hand-made pastas – the specialty being scialatielli thick ribbons of fresh pasta – alongside other delicious local specialties and liqueurs. Look out for :- Villa Marittima Romana, Basilica of Santa Trofimena, Church of Saints Gennaro and Giuliano
