Luostarinmäki Handicraftsmuseum, Turku, Finland

In 1827, the Great Fire of Turku, caused widespread destruction but the Luostarinmäki area escaped the flames. Today this perfectly preserved village allows visitors to see what life was like for common people in the 1800s. The workshops demonstrate pre-industrial crafts throughout the summer.
